Just as the mountain climber who stands at the base of Mt. Everest needs time to adjust to higher altitudes and receive guidance to navigate unpredictable terrain ahead, BaseCamp™ provides mental fitness training and relational nourishment setting NFL rookie classes up for success as they ascend to new levels.

BaseCamp™

is a mental fitness program for NFL draft prospects and rookie classes positioning athletes to attain and sustain an acute level of presence, internal strength, and mental fortitude to maximize their performance, impact, and longevity.

BaseCamp™ offers interactive experiences that help athletes acclimate to new levels of performance. As a meditation expert, I educate and coach these young players through tangible tools to manage mental, emotional, and spiritual stressors.

Similar to the wisdom and relational nourishment offered to trekkers by sherpas, BaseCamp™ provides wisdom and meditation skills that support draft candidates and Rookies on the long, uncertain road ahead. And like the sherpas, I may even walk the journey with these athletes by providing ongoing support.

My heart and so much of my life are connected to the people, land, and dogs of Tibet and Nepal. These countries are located at the base of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain on the planet. The meditation practices and everything I do, including the way I move through the world, are influenced by Tibetan Buddhism which I’ve studied and practiced since 1996. Tibetan Buddhism is also the religious practice and way of living for sherpas. Naming the category of programming that shares the meditation training I have received from Tibetans BaseCamp™ is one way that I seek to honor and include my lineage of practice.
